The overall objective of the M & E unit is to improve the MOA service delivery system through the provision of adequate, accurate and timely information on the performance of the sector and MOA activities to enhance decision-making. The Monitoring and Evaluation Unit under the Department of Planning and Development demands that its planning, management, and monitoring be based on sound evidence and for which it is crucial to ensure that the level of support is sustained, available, comprehensive, and reliable with consistent up-to-date statistical data available.
