WOMEN IN CAPE MOUNT CELEBRATE AGRICULTURE MINISTER

Scores of women braved the shower of rain on Tuesday to celebrate Liberia's agriculture Minister, Jeanine M. Cooper, for reactivating a dormant government farm in Teh, Grand Cape Mount County along the dirt road towards the county's main town, Robertsport.

The farm has been inactive since 1982. Ministry of Agriculture's agronomists and field technicians have been working clearing and preparing the farm. Planting of various food crops on this farm starts next month.

In 2021, His Excellency President George Manneh Weah instructed Minister Cooper to ensure all Government farms across the country are fully reactivated and operational for crops production
