[Monrovia, Liberia, January 28, 2025] – The Ministry of Agriculture has donated a large quantity of locally grown food items to the Ministry of Health to support hospitals across the country. The donation, which includes 100 bags of 50 kg rice, 10 bags of gari, three bags of beans commonly known as “Kpaku torweh,” and organic baby food, is part of the government’s “Liberians Feed Yourselves Agenda” aimed at promoting local food production and consumption
Suakoko, Bong County – January 21, 2025 - The Ministry of Agriculture (MOA) has launched a transformative initiative to enhance Agriculture Extension Delivery Services and accelerate agricultural development across Liberia. A landmark awareness workshop was held at the 101 Building of the Central Agricultural Research Institute (CARI) in Suakoko, Bong County, where newly appointed Regional Agriculture Coordinators (RACs), County Agriculture Coordinators (CACs), District Agriculture Officers (DAOs) and other MOA field technicians received training to implement the National Agriculture Development Plan (NADP)
